Collaborating with esteemed individuals like Ms. Yoshida, my supportive supervisor, Mrs. Yamamoto, KDD Osaka Head Division Manager, who believed in me, and the Former President of the Philippines, Joseph Estrada, was an honour. This project, entrusted by the Philippine Embassy, not only honed my expertise but also fueled my passion for meaningful collaborations.
Event Highlight: 1996 Philippine Independence Day Celebration, Osaka
- Role: Entrusted by the Osaka Philippine Embassy to organize the Philippine Independence Day event in Osaka, without detailed instructions.
- Ownership: Took complete ownership of the project.
- Budget Negotiation:
- Negotiated with my head supervisor.
- Secured a budget of half a million yen (five times higher or more in today’s currency).
- Venue: Gained access to the prestigious KDD Hall in Osaka.
- Entertainment:
- Booked one of the most renowned Filipino singers.
- Engaged a popular band to attract Filipinos from all over Japan.
- Objectives:
- Delight the Filipino community (especially the Embassy) with an unforgettable celebration.
- Gather five hundred Filipino attendees for a telemarketing initiative to boost KDD’s outreach.
- Outcome:
- Executed a flawlessly organized event.
- Achieved 100% satisfaction from every stakeholder, including the Philippine Embassy and all guests in attendance.
- Impact:
- This project stands as a testament to my ability to deliver exceptional results autonomously, blending creative strategy with rigorous execution.
